QuestionI have numerous basil plants. I have noticed some of them have stunted internodes, which make the leaves (also stunted) 'rosette' around a single point. What is causing this?
AnswerIngrid:
I am not familiar with basil doing this.
Basil must have morning sun all day
It must have good soil & organic fertilized every 3 weeks
Must be pruned at Least every 3 weeks
Pot must be 12" OR MORE DEEP.
Must receive fresh air
Must not be over watered, allow to drain well before watering again. Once a week will be sufficient if the soil is good.
It must receive heat at night in 70's. if out doors. Inside supply bottom heat with heat mat or cables.
I hope some of this will solve the problem
