QuestionHi! I am a middle school student and I go to a magnet school. I am about to begin conducting my first science fair project, and decided to do it about how different light sources affect the growth and health of basil. If you can help me, that would be greatly appreciated. Please contact me.
Thank you very much,
Abigail
AnswerAbigail:
I wish I could tell about the different light on basil. I do know that basil in the summer needs complete morning sun. It prefers the high light and heat. I find the grow lights work well for starting the seeds. You can use warm light and cool light tubes also. Growing indoors takes 166 hours of light+ circulation+ moisture. A very delicate job. Try your search under growing basil basil in high lights.
