rosemary bush dying

Question
I have had a rosemary bush planted in a LARGE pot for two years or more and it was doing wonderful, up until a few weeks ago.  I live on the coast of NC, and it seems that when the weather began to get really hot the plant suddenly began dying.  I thought maybe it needed to be re-potted so I did that and trimmed off all the dead branches.  It still continued to die.  I still have a few live(green) branches.  Did I help the dying process by re-potting and can you help me save my rosemary?  I wanted to keep it alive (I've had it so long) until I buy a house soon so I can put it in the ground.  Please help!

Answer
Krista:
The weather most likely made the change in your rosemary. Sometimes when it doesn't receive water on a regular schedule, it will start to die. Feed with a liquid fish fertilizer every 3 weeks. This may keep it going. Water it at the same time if you don't have any weekly rain.
