QuestionHI...both my dill & oregano plants are growing like crazy; however each of these plants have flowers budding/growing at the tops. How should I be cutting/trimming these plants to maintain their health & growth?
AnswerSheri:
Yes, do start pruning. Take off all flowers on the dill. Leave at least 1 or more pair of leaves on each branch. New growth will start. Prune at least 1/3 or more & flowers off each branch of oregano. It is a fast grower and will return you much more. It should over winter and return next year. If you allow some dill seeds to fall on ground, they may give you some new plants in the spring. Just allow them to do their thing.
