QuestionI bought six french lavender planets from the nursery. Everything I have read say plant in zone 8. I live in Illinois which I think is a zone 5-6. If I planet these outside will I have to dig them up in the fall for them to survive the winter??
AnswerBarbara:
Normally french lavender will not grow thru winters outdoors. They have to be inside in a sunny, east or southern location. Water no more than once week. They have been known to attract white flies. Go to web site "gardens Alive.com" for organic pest products.
