QuestionHi there,
I am growing some herbs in my garden and would like to know how i can make tea from them. In particular i am wondering about chamomille and passionflower. I don't know what part of the plant is used to make tea. Is it the leaves or the flower petals? How much would it take to make a cup of tea and can it be used straight from the garden or should it be dried first? Thanks for any input you can provide.

AnswerSusan, usually the leaves are dried and then used for tea. For some plants the flowers are also dried and used to make tea. About a half to full tablespoon of the dried leaves would make a cup of tea. I recommend you research the internet to find specifics.
I have other topics on the all experts site Susan, and I would welcome any questions from you.
I hope this helps you.
