growing herbs indoor, in a not very much sunny flat

Question
Hi, I recently bought 3 tipes of herbs: Salvia, Winter Savory and Moroccan Mint. Unfortunatly my place don`t get much sun, the only balcony faces north-east (slightly more towards the east) and get sun only till 11.30-12am. Is it too little for herbs? And one more question, could you tell me if the roots of these plants grow deep or wide, so I can be sure to get the correct pot for them? Cheers for your help.

Answer
Mal:
All of the herbs need full morning sun from the east or south. Savia need a deep pot 12" and 6" depth for others.Winter savory if it lives will return next year. The mint and salvia may not if they are listed as tender perennials. Feed organic fertilizer.
