Question
This may sound weird, but i want to be safe. Im going to be taking a detox pill and/or tea to detox my body and also hopefully lose weight. I just started taking birth controle a couple weeks ago and was worried about the detox pill or tea will affect the birth control and its prevention of pregnancy?

If not would you happen to know what pill or tea may effect the birth control?

Hi Jazy, no that does not sound wierd at all.  The detox pill or tea should not cause a problem with the effects of your birth contol pill on your body.

You may want to ask your doctor orpharmacist for a confirmation, but I recommend you take them at a different time of the day.  For example, if you take the birth control in the morning, then take the detox later in the day, like noon or later.
