QuestionHi Leroy! I noticed my herbs the other day having some brown spots on some of the leaves. I inspected the roots and the ones nearest to the leaves seemed fine so I cut as much as I could off from the root tips (about 20%) and repoted the plants in new soil and a new pot (just in case) well my oregano is not happy some of his leaves are turning black (not brown). Is there any hope of saving the poor guy? I should mention that he's an indoor plant-- I live in an apartment but love herbs.

AnswerKim:
I am sure it is because oregano is an outdoor herb, Italian or greek. It must receive all of mother nature's love. Rain, sun, wind. It must be able to go dormant in winter and return in the spring. Try to get a plant to an outdoor window sill on the east side.
