Denis, as you know nothing will complete cure or eliminate the virus, but there are several supplements as well as preparations to apply directly to the genitals that can bring you relief from the pain and itching, and can actulaly prevent outbreaks or make them less frequent and milder.  I assume you have seen your doctor.  I want to give you some things to try and a pharmacist may also recommend some over-the-counter drugs.
First, get some L-Lysine capsules from any health store or pharmacy.  Take 1500 mg daily on an empty stomach.  You can experiment with taking more(up to 5000mg daily for the first 4 weeks, then reduce to 1500) .  Just increase the dosage slowly and notice any ill affects that might occur.  Dont drink milk with it and dont take any l-arginine.  Dont take lysine for more than 6 months without a break.  Then if there is an outbreak, start it again  50mg of B6 and 100 mg of vitamin C will help your body absorb the Lysine.  Take B-50 capsules 2 or 3 times a day with meals.  Take vitamin C with bioflavonoids 5,000 mg spread throughout the day if your system tolerates it.  
Take 50mg of zinc daily. Use a chelate form.  There are other substances that may help.  The L-Lysine is very important and you need to know that l-arginine could make it worse.  You might try researching herpes on the internet or look in a reference book at the library.  I really hope this helps.
