QuestionHi...Thanks for the opportunity to follow-up...i have had the prostate checked via PSA, digital exams and even a biopsy. All normal. The doctor says that the bladder is just overactive on its own. Given this fact do you have any recommendations? I did purchase the Enuraid but haven't tried it yet until i get your advise and perhaps the pharmacist or doctor about possible interaction. I have tried saw palmetto in the past with minimal results.
Many thanks

Paul, I am not a physician; however, I am a male over 50. You probably have had a prostate examination. If you have not, then I have to strongly reccomend that you see a urologist for the PSA and digital exam. I suggest this because an enlarged prostate certainly can cause pressure on the bladder and frequent urination. If you do suspect an enlarged prostate then we can deal with that with herbal remedies. The best I have found is saw palmetto, an herb that is known to releive swelling of the prostate, thus allowing the bladder to expand naturally.
Now, if you have ruled that out already, has your doctor given you a reason for your overactive bladder? I am not qualified to comment on the Detrol LA. The other remedy you mentioned is a combination of homeopathic ingredients and may be effective, depending on what is causing your symptoms. There are other herbal remedies that may offer the help you are looking for. Please respond. Anything you can offer to help us understand the cause of the frequent urination will help a lot to find something to offer relief.
AnswerTo check with your Dr or Pharmacist for possible interactions is an excellent idea. With their approval, by all means try the Enuraid, and give it a few days. If you dont find the relief you need, I will see what alternatives there may be among herbs and other supplements. I would like to hear from you either way.
