I would love to plant lavender but I live in Singapore and don't know if the climate is conducive to growing it.

I am assuming that singapore climate is very damp. Lavender like it sunny and dry. Soil should have a handful of lime added yearly and well drained. Keeping it pruned will stimulate better growth. Pruned 1/3 off the new branches every 3 weeks. I like the provence and dutch varieties for hardiness and scent.Good luck!
