I am taking ortho-cept.
I have been on them for 5 years. I am concerned about my health, so I have
broken them down to 1/2 and having been doing ok, but with the herbs.

I wrote you a short time back regarding endometriosis. i hope you dont mind one more question. i have started the vitex,and something called fem restore. i am going to go buy the wild yam/vitex. i guess what i didn't tell you is i am on bcp's for the pain and am trying to get off them. will this interefer or vice versa with the herb treatment? some doctors say no, some say yes... 'wondering your opinion.

I don't think taking wild yam/vitex, or ANY other hormone balancing herb is a good idea while you're on bcp.  It's dangerous to be mixing your herbs and meds like that, even if you've cut your med dose in half.  I'd suggest you decide which route you want to take, herbal or drugs, and find a practitioner in your area that specializes in that route.
