QuestionI've put too much lime in my garden and burned a few of my plants. How may I remedy this and do I need to replace the burned ones?

AnswerHi Sorry for the delay,
I don't believe you can burn your plants with too much lime. Lime is pretty slow is release being basically ground rock or shells. You may have put too much nitrogen in the garden in whatever form you used and that is the problem OR you may not have hardened off your plants before planting out to the garden. Both will give the appearance of burning leaves. Lastly could your soil be too alkaline not to acid? The final problem actually could be too ALKALINE a soil for ACID requiring plants.
Anyway,to decide what to do you must 1st decide what the original problem was.
Soil or plant based.
If the plant is an established plant in a well drained area you could try flooding the area with water and allowing it too drain away....if the problem is actually coming from the soil.It would be easiest and most affective I think to move the plant...adjust the soil and then replant.
If it's too much sun to quickly the problem may have resolved itself during my delayed response. :( If not the cooler days of fall should help.
