tree   I have something weird growing up from the bottom.. Its looks like a yellow tree with yarn for branches.. I don't know what it is?

Hi Jessica,

Those are your Cat Palm's flowers. Actually each bump along the yellow branches is an individual flower. We sometimes forget that the reason for flowers is so that plants can reproduce. Not all flowers are attractive to the human eye and this is an example.

Palm flowers often turn from pale yellow to orange before drying up and turning brown. You can cut them off at any time.
