QuestionThe double leaf brick wall, plastered and painted, above one of our house plants has developed damp blistering. There is no damp above or below this area, which starts about 4 feet from the floor. Could transpiration from this plant possible have caused this? We have removed the blistered paint and cannot find another cause, outside or inside, from windows or cracks. How odd!

I guess it is possible...But I would highly doubt it...
Without pictures I can only guess...
I would think the main problem would be preping the wall before painting...If the problem moisture were from an inside source you would see other signs like mold, wet spots, etc...Consult an expert in your area on preparing brick walls before plastering and painting to prevent water accumulation through the bricks...
