I just read your Q/A about black dots on a Yucca plant. Is this the same treatment I'd use on the ginger plant or some other treatment. If not the same please let me know treatment and prevention plan.

Hi Vickey,

No, the cause of the leaf spots on the Yucca is not the same as on your Ginger. I would have to see a good photo of your Ginger that shows the entire plant including its pot to be able to diagnose the cause of the black dots. They might be scale or caused by improper watering or inadequate light.
