my haworthia succulent

Question
haworthia
haworthia
hello

I have haworthia attenuata plant and I love it so much

recently I  noticed some leaves turning yellow starting from the tips and then become all yellow and die
I don't know why
the yellow leaves are around the edges not in the center of the plant
It was in a shade area but I change it's place
I put it in front of window (west facing) as you see in the picture put there is no change . the leaves continue yellowing

I water it carefully I never let the water to wet the leaves
and I keep the soil completely dry before second watering

please can you tell me what is the wrong?

thank you

I think you are letting the soil go too dry in between waterings...That's why the outside perimeter of the leaves turn yellow 1st and then they dry up like paper...If you water too frequently the leaves will get yellow 1st and then get mushy and soft...Their care is easy if you treat them like a cactus when it comes to watering...

Cacti and other succulents usually die from too frequent watering (or letting stay dry too long). You want to make sure they go dry between waterings...They do rot out easily if kept too wet. Water your plant based on how much it weighs when thoroughly watered VS when they are ready to be watered again...Most plants die from too frequent waterings, not from how much water you give them at one time. Pick the pot up and feel how heavy it is after watering it thoroughly. Don't water it again until it feels considerably lighter and the top of the soil is light in color. Do water in the early AM on sunny days...Water on the foliage will not harm them then...

Direct morning sunlight (especially up till Noon) is good for most plants. Cacti love light...A lot of succulents will not tolerate direct sun all day...They just need a bright location...

Hope this helps.
