Help thanks

I think you should be able to overwinter it in your sun room...As long as temps do not go below 40 degrees it will help it go into dormancy...It won't look real pretty during the winter months, but you can treat it like most indoor plants...
Watering frequency is important, especially during the winter months...Water your plant based on how much it weighs when thoroughly watered VS when they are ready to be watered again. Plants die from too frequent waterings, not from how much water you give them at one time. Pick the pot up and feel how heavy it is after watering it thoroughly. Don't water it again until it feels considerably lighter and the soil top of the soil is light in color. Depending on plant types, sunlight exposure and pot size plants will need water at many different rates from once a day to once a month or more...
Type this into your search engine to view an article I found on plant-care.com concerning mandevilla...

Below I have quoted a part of it for you to view...
"As we get closer to winter we receive a lot of the same question ?What can I do or how do I take care of my mandevilla during the winter. Mandevilla has become a very big spring blooming crop, and is usually grown outside on a deck, patio, sun porch, etc.
As the nights begin to cool off the Mandevilla will slow down. That is the time to give them some food to harden them up for the long winter.
Try to use a liquid fertilizer with a high middle number e.g. 10-56-14, (Lightly) since you can cause fertilizer burn. We are not trying to promote growth but to toughen the plant up. Don抰 go over board with the fertilizer; let the plant stay outside as long as possible. It should be able to handle high 40抯 for brief periods.
After about 3 weeks (if you can hold out that long weather permitting) prune the plant back. Not just tipping the plant but cutting it down to about 12 inches above the soil line. I would also treat this vining plant for any possible pests problems since it will be going indoors for the winter.
Next we want to begin slowing up on the water and let the plant run on the dry side. Remember that we have given the plant some fertilizer and removed a lot of growth so the requirements for water should drop.
Indoors Mandevilla Maintenance Not Growth
When you bring the plant inside place it in as much light as possible. You are looking for maintenance not growth. You抣l probably get some quick new growth, just try to maintain it. Some people place the plant in a clear plastic bag and over wintered their Mandevilla in their heated garage.
Try to maintain the plant on the dry side throughout the winter.
Moving Mandevilla In Spring
When spring comes you can move the plant outside. Expect the growth produced during the winter to be burned off!!!
Although, we cannot guarantee the above method will work you, it is a guideline that has worked for others over the years you can try."
Hope this helps and good luck.
