i was just given this plant, I think it is a peace lily, but the flowers are not white, they are green. they have no white in them at all. Any ideas?

It is a peace lily. As the flowers fade they turn green and eventually brown. I usually cut them off at the point they are at about right now, when they are no longer pretty. The longer you leave them on the plant will think it is satisfying it's life cycle so it will not try to produce more flowers unless you cut those old flowers off. It looks like a nice plant. Please make sure you do not leave it sitting in a drain tray full of water. It is not a swamp plant. It's roots rot easily so you should not water it until the soil surface has been dry for at least 3 days. More questions write again. Good luck!
