I havent watered my peace lillies in 7 days, but the soil is still moist, do i water them?

Question
I'm not sure what to do! I think the leaves one both plants have started to droop just a little. But if the soil is damp, I'm not sure what the point of watering would be, but it's been a week! The bottom leaves on one of my plants have started to turn yellow. I cut off two yellow leaves yesterday, and one is yellow today.

They are in an office environment with air conditioning all day and none at night (not sure why I mentioned that, but maybe it'll help)

Thank you!

Answer
Peace lillies (Spathiphyliums) usually show you when they need water by wilting their leaves. If kept wet too long or allowed to stay dry too long their leaves will turn yellow easily. Do remove yellow or brown leaves as they appear. Plants die from too frequent waterings (or lack of water when dry), not from how much water you give them at one time.

Water your plants in the following manner for greater success with all your plants.
Check how much it weighs when thoroughly watered VS its' weight when it is ready to be watered again. Sometimes it helps to put a saucer under the pot and let the plant sit in water for 10-15 minutes. Pick the pot up and feel how heavy it is after watering it thoroughly. Don't water it again until it feels considerably lighter and the soil top of the soil is light in color. Depending on plant types, sunlight exposure and pot size plants will need water at many different rates from once a day to once a month or more.
Peace lillies do well under artificial light in offices.

Hope this helps.
Rick
