RE: Light Level

Question

orchid
Hi Mr Creed,

Thanks for advice once again. Btw light shade means that there no bright light? I've attached a recent picture of my Brassolaelia  and it is grown in the balcony under the light conditions in the picture you've seen. May I know if its receiving enough light?

Answer
Hi Alfredo,

I really cannot accurately assess light based on a photo. In addition, I am sure that some parts of your balcony get more light than other parts.

Light shade means the light you would get outdoors under a tree with sparse, but not dense leaves. The latter would be deep shade.

and request my article on light.
