Question
I saw the most amazing indoor plant at a friend's office the other day.  It had trunks (or stems?) that were about 1 inch in diameter, that wound around like snakes.  It also had small red berries and I believe small white flowers although I'm not sure.  It also had nice foliage (dark green I think) but I can't remember the shape.  She said the plant had belonged to her grandmother and was at least 40 years old!  Can you identify it?

Sorry, it doesn't sound like anything I have ever grown. If you can get your friend to take a digital picture of it and send it to you you can forward it to me at [email protected] and I will see if I can identify it. I have a friend who is really good with identifying plants and I can consult him. Then maybe you can talk her into giving you a cutting and you will have your own.
