Question
I inherited this 'tree' from my elderly mother- she doesn't remember what this plant is. I'm curious. it's about 4-5 feet tall, with thin medium green leaves at the top,  growing in tiers- the way a pineapple's leaves grow. the thin 'trunk' is light brown, split into two parts about 6inches from the soil and has the ring like marks that look like the leaves left behind as the plant grew. I hope this is an accurate description. Do you recognize this?
