QuestionI'm doing a science fair experiment & I need to at least get a sprout in 5 days is it possible? Also how much should I water it?
AnswerHi Kayla,
I suspect you have procrastinated on your science project and you haven't left yourself with enough time.
I suggest you use green bean seeds, lentils or Lima beans start to sprout roots within about a week, but there is no guarantee. For best results, put the beans between two layers of damp paper towels or newspaper that you must keep constantly damp at all times. This is done most easily by placing the paper and beans inside of a sealed clear plastic bag.
Some added warmth underneath the beans will hep encourage faster sprouting of roots.
Good luck with your science project. I hope you get your beans to sprout on time.
