What time of year should I get a bottle of rooting hormone  then cut the stem well below the green leaves OF A TI PLANT and dip the cut end in the rooting hormone? Then place the cutting in a hole you have made in a fresh pot of potting soil.

To get it to root well it needs to be between April 1st and June 30th when the days are getting longer. Roots do not grow well when the days are short. If you want to do it now you will need to put it under a 2 tube flourescent light fixture on a timer that is on for 14 hours a day. The bulbs need to be no more than 12 inches above the top of the plant. Good luck with your project.
