QuestionI have two schefflera plants and they are too big and cumbersome to keep bringing in the house in the winter. Can they be left outside during the winter? I live in southeast Pennsylvania.
AnswerHi Mary Ellen,
Scheffleras are native to tropical regions that are frost free. So yours will definitely not survive your PA winters. In fact, you should get them inside very soon because some chilling damage can occur when temps drop as low as 40 degrees.
