Questionmini orange tree outside has insects eating the leaves. What should I do?
AnswerAnthony,
The insects may be butterfly or moth larva. To kill any insects on your tree mix rubbing alcohol and water half & half then add 2 teaspoons of dish soap per quart of mix. Put that mix in a spray bottle and spray the tree thoroughly making sure you get the fronts and backs of all leaves and the trunk and surface of the soil around the tree. Spray again in 4 days and repeat twice a week until you feel the tree is free of inseccts. Rubbing alcohol kills most insects on contact. Good luck.
