Question
Croton Plant
I have a Croton that is about 3 ft. tall and was doing really well until it got left out in the cold one night. Now it has lost all of it's leaves. What do I need to do to get it healthy and bushy again please? I have attached a picture of the plant also. Thank you.
AnswerElizabeth,
Keep it in a warm and very sunny location. Do not leave it outsid if the temperature us supposed to drop below 60 degrees. Give it very little water. Keep it barely moist, do not give it more than a cup of water at a time and empty the drain tray totally. It is better off nearly dry than wet. Wet will cause root rot while it has no leaves. Sun and warmth matters most. When it starts getting new sprouts it will require more water. If you have more questions feel free to write again. Good luck.
