Question

I've had a miniature orange tree for approx. 5 yrs. I put it outside on a deck that gets a lot of sun in the summer and bring it inside during the winter. (Pittsburgh, Pa.) Right now, it still has a lot of miniature oranges on it, so this is my question: Should I pick all the oranges off before it gets warm enough to put back outside, or just leave them alone? Thank you. I'll try to download a photo of it. Sherin Peters
AnswerSherin,
Congratulations, It looks beautiful and very healthy. It is fine to leave them on. In Florida I know orange trees can have oranges ripening on them and new blossems at eht same time. If they are ripe I would pick thm andd use them but if not you can leave them on and it will not weaken the tree. Good luck.
