i have a madagascar dragon tree and all the leaves turned yellow and i pulled them all of will they grow back and how long will it take thanx

If there are absolutely no leaves, not even tiny ones on the growing tip of the plant they may not grow back. It will not grow new leaves where the old ones were it will just keep growing taller and grow new leaves from that growing tip. If it is healthy it will grow 1-2 new leaves a month.

The leaves of the plant turned yellow either from too much water or too little water. It must be in a pot with a drainage hole and a drain tray under it. Thirty minutes after you water it you should empty the drain tray so it is not sitting with a drain tray full of water. It is not a swamp plant and the roots quickly rot if it is sitting in water constantly. When it is dry and feels light weight it should be watered. It should not go longer than 2 week between waterings during the winter and 1 week during the summer. It should not be constantly wet, it needs to dry out.

It does like very bright light and will benefit from some morning sun from an unshaded east window. More sun will help it grow better. Good luck.
