QuestionI bought a plant at a store, it had no title other than "Tropical Plant." It is about 12" high with long, rounded leaves. The leaves grow radially around the stalk at about one per inch. The stalk, base and edges of the leaves are reddish purple while the rest of the plant is a deep green. The undersides of the leaves seem to shine bright purple when faced towards my CLF grow light. It's pretty awesome. It was soft white hairs growing all over, including on the top of the leaves. The leaves have no distinguished veins but have faint lines running lengthwise. I'd like to know what it is primarily because of curiosity but also so I can take better care of it.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
AnswerErin,
Although you have given me a very good description of your plant it is not tripping anything in my memory of familiar plants. You will have to send me a digital picture. Ycan send one through allexperts or you can send several to me at
[email protected] and I will do my best to identify it for you. Thanks.
