Hello,
I am doing a project at my school to make my school more Green, and one of the ideas we had was to put some potted plants here and there, and also to have some vines growing (up staircases, around cement pillars). I was wondering which plants/vines you would recommend? The main problem I've had is finding plant species that could last the summer without water.

i'm sorry, I do not know of any plants that will grow all summer without water. Plants have to be cared for. Not even cactus will go that long without water. I'm afraid you will have to find a janitor willing to water plants during the summer or live with plastic plants. Good luck.
