QuestionMy mandeville is planted in a pot located on my patio.I had a problem with mealy worms but have corected that problem. My problem now is yellow leaves with round small brown spots on them. The leaves fall off after a while leaving the vine sparse. What is causing the yellowing of the leaves?
Thank you Jean Strauss
AnswerJean,
Does your plant get full sun? It loves and needs the sun all day if possible. It also sounds like it may be getting too much water. You should not be leaving it sit in a drain tray full of water constantly. Too mmuch water causes yellow leaves, remove the drain tray or empty it 30 minutes after watering and do not water again until the plant is DRY. So I think more sun and less water will solve your problem. Good luck.
