QuestionI have hens and chicks and 2 roosters. They have not bloomed yet and they are 18 inchs long. How much longer before they bloom? Yet they fell over. What can i do for this?
AnswerDear Carol,
Your hens will bloom upon maturity which is somewhere between three and four years old. When you say they fell over, I assume you mean the pot they are in was knocked over? If they are not damaged then you don't have to worry but since they grow so profusely you will soon have new plants to replace those that might have been damaged. After flowering the hen dies.
They grow well in partial shade to full sun but must have a well drained soil.
