Question"I have a shefflera plant/tree that has been at the office for at least 5 years... The boss says
I have to take it home. I have a small apt. and not much room right now. Can I
put it on the porch with morning sun and it be alright? I live in the Dallas
area."
AnswerDear Connie,
Instead of taking your plant home why not try changing your boss?!! What a peculiar man he must be. Doesn't he know that plants and flowers have an uplifting effect? Or perhaps he just needs the space for yet another filing cabinet!!
Your plant should be fine as long as the morning sun is not too strong. But of course when the weather begins to get chilly it really will need to be indoors. Perhaps by that time you might have managed to find some room in your apartment for it. I hope so.
