Question
My very large cactus was knocked over, although none of the spines fell off, a couple were damaged. The milk is coming out but the pieces are still attached. how can i save it?!

Dear Maggie,

As stated in my profile I do not profess to know very much about cacti, unfortunately!  My gut feeling is to mop up the sap and leave well alone since none of the plant has broken off.  However, I am going to send your question to the Answer Pool which means that the other experts who, quite possibly, have experience with cacti, can answer your question.  Therefore you should get advice from someone else and can compare it with mine!  I am sure one of them will be able to help.
