QuestionI have a Stephanotis which is flowering beautifully however it has outgrown the pot it is in, can I repot into a larger pot while it is in flower? or will this cause the plant to "fall back"?
AnswerDear Dorothy,
The short answer is NO !! Never repot any houseplant whilst it is in flower - repotting should be done before flowering in the spring time to allow new roots to grow inside the larger pot.
Your plant is doing well so leave it be until it has finished flowering when you can cut it back.
In one of my plant books instructions are given never to move the plant whilst it is in flower so I have done just that with my plant and am waiting to see what catastrophe may occur! So far I have moved it every day for over two weeks and it is still growing well!
All the best,
Diana
