QuestionI am looking for a plant that lets off the smell of lemons when sprayed with water. I had a co-worker many years ago that had one of these plants and it made your house smell so GOOD. Do you know of a plant like this and where I can get one?
AnswerDear Robin,
I'm afraid I don't know of any plant which lets off the smell of lemons when sprayed with water however, there are a couple of plants whose leaves, when crushed, smell of lemons.
They are Eucalyptus globulus known as Blue Gum and Pelargonium crispum known as Lemon scented Geranium.
I will do some investigating and see if I can come up with any other plants.
