QuestionHello,
I have a major scale problem on my palm. I've heard that one shouldn't use insecticidal soap sprays on palms. Is there a relatively inexpensive treatment?
Thanks,
Andrew
AnswerAndrew,
You can also use rubbing alcohol mixed with water 50/50 and put it in a spray bottle. Spray the entire plant every 3 days for at least 2 months to get every scale that hatches from eggs. You must spray the fronts and backs of all the leaves and the surfacee of the soil. After you are sure you have eradicatedated all the scale you will need to watch it close for further signs of scale. If you find any begin treetment immediately. If you have further questione feel free to write again. Good luck.
