QuestionI have 2 house plants with long leaves and parts of the leaves are turning yellow
AnswerNelda,
Leaves turning yellow indicates either too little water or too much water. Without more information about the kind of plant, the size of the pot, how often you are watering it and how much light it gets that is all I can tell you. You will have to decide whether you need to increase or decrese the water. Pick up the pot. If it is light water it immediately until there is water in th drain tray and an hour later empty all the excess water out of the drain tray. If it is heavy take it to the sink and remove the drain tray and let the excess water drain all night, then move the plant to a sunnier location and let it go a few days longer between waterings. Also reduce the amount of water you give it at each watering. Good luck.
