Question
Tiger plant?
My friend bought a plant (see attached photo) labelled a Tiger plant, with no other information or scientific name. She wanted a better identification of the plant. That's where I came in. I have not found any answers for her. It looks more like a variegated yucca plant, but I'm not certain. I was curious if it was some type of houseplant I was not aware of. Any information you can provide on the plant's identification would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
AnswerDave,
It is a patented plant that has only been on the market a few years. The latin name is Euphorbia characias 'variegata'. It is meant to be more of an outdoor plant than a house plant but with the right conditions many outdoor plants can be wintered over indoors.
