QuestionI was recently given a ceramic garden; a Bromeliad Garden. I read the Care instuctions on the back of the label, but even though I only moisten the soil and seldomly drench the leafs, the leafs still turn brown. Is this because of too much water, or too little?
I cut the brown tips everytime, and I'd like to know if there is something that I can do to stop it from turning brown, or if I should continue cutting the tips.
Thank you & I hope to hear soon from you,
Beatriz
AnswerIt is not that you are watering it too little or too much, it is that you must be giving them, some other water besides, distilled water or rain water, tap water and most human water contain some kind of salt of chlorine. They plants leafs then dry out, and shrivel up, this will most likely not stop it completely, but it will slow it down allot, if have lots of plants and I use distilled water for all of them and I still have some brown tips, but there are about 2 leafs, per year per plant!
Best Wishes,
