Scheffleras planted outside?

Can Scheffleras be planted outdoors successfully, and if so, under what specific conditions? And, what type of care would it require? I would appreciate any information you can offer us.

Yes, it can if you live in south Florida or Southern California and the temperatures NEVER drop below 45 degrees. Make sure it gets at least an inch of water every 2 weeks. It can be pruned regularly. If you have more questions feel free to write again. Good luck.
