QuestionSome questions i was just wondering on....
Is the pothos plant nontoxic or toxic to cats??? On two different websites it says that its toxic and another its nontoxic. We have a cat and we had the plant about a year with the cat and we had no problems. I am also wondering about the purple heart plant (Wandering Jew),geraniums, and christmas cactus also...nontoxic or toxic?
Thanks.
AnswerKatelyn,
For the most part cats are intelligent enough to not eat plants that are poisonous, they may bite into a leaf but usually will not swallow it.
Pothos vine is somewhat toxic, it will make them sick but will not kill them, Christmas cactus are not toxic at all, geraniums are toxic, wandering jew is not. Cat's can be very toxic to plants, they like to use pots as litter boxes and can quickly destroy a plant.
Good luck.
