Question
I have a palm plant with white web like material on the leaves near the stalk.  It's moving out towards the ends of the leaves where two touch.  any ideas

The webs are from bugs, spider mites. Put rubbing alcohol in a bottle and spray the entire plant. It will kill the spider mites on contact. If the plant is small enough take it to the kitchen sink and use the sprayer to wash off the webs or if it is large and you have a hand held shower put it in the shower and wash it. Then watch it closely for future sites of spider mites and attack them immediately.  They attack the plant when it and the air is too dry. Good luck.
