Question
Hello, I have two small dogs that have, for some reason, stripped and chewed in half my small palm tree.  I want to keep it and replant it but not sure if it will survive. Can you tell me if I can re-plant it, will it grow or survive?  It is in a 12 inch pot.  It was about two and half feet tall before they chewed it up in the middle.  Any help is appreciated.   Thanks   Holly V

I wish I had an answer for your, Holly V.  But this is a TOUGH one.

I am NOT optimistic about this.  And I definitely cannot give you any GOOD ideas about how to save this poor plant that the Dogs got to.  Bless their little hearts.

Try hitting them over the head with it.  Tell them not to do that again.  That way, if you do keep it alive, they'll leave it alone.
