Questionhow often does it flower and should i let it bud out.
my plant is 7 foot tall and flowering does it go to seed and is it self polanating
thank you
AnswerHi Irish,
Once a corn plant is mature enough to flower, it will usually flower once or twice per year thereafter, as long as it is not repotted or relocated.
The flowers are very sticky and very messy once they start to turn brown and dry. I suggest that you cut off the entire flower spike (stem) as soon as the flowers start to fade. The flowers are not self-pollinating and yours will not produce seed.
