QuestionHello Will, I recently purchased a burrito plant, to go along with another burrito plant that I have. Would it be wise to combine them into one pot? I want to get that full, over the edge look. Should I be patient and wait for it to happen on its on ?
I appreciate your help
Nana
AnswerHi Nana,
I assume that the plant you are referring to is commonly called Burro's tail.
I don't recommend combining the two plants as they don't like to have their roots disturbed and I don't think that will accomplish what you want.
Burro's tails root very easily. In fact, all you have to do is place some leaves on top of the soil of the existing pots and they will take root and grow more plants to fill out the pot.
If you want to the plants to grow faster, then place them in your sunniest window as direct sun is the key to better growth.
