QuestionI have an outdoor jasmine (planted on the north side of the house in my central Florida home) that has been doing well since planted in late May. I fertilized it once with a spray in early July. It is now about 30" high and 24" wide. It has been raining a lot (since June) and is quite windy here, but it is in very well drained, sandy ground. It is still blooming ok. More than 1/3 of the plant is now totally bare. Why would this happen? What can I do to correct it?
AnswerHi Dawn,
My experience and expertise is limited to indoor potted plants, so your question is outside my area of expertise. I suspect that your Jasmine needs pruning, but you should check with a gardening expert who is familiar with your particular climate.
